How it all started when I drove the Texas perimeter. Good times!

In June 2020, I decided to drive the perimeter of the Lone Star State with two colleagues from the Texas travel and tourism industry, Morgan Taylor and Debra Bustos. That’s how the idea of my Texas blog started. I highly recommend it and would do it again. Click here to watch the video.

Until next time from Texas … safe travels!

Are you planning on driving the perimeter? Happy to help anyway I can.

Thankyou for your response. We are consisdering either October 2023 or the following April. Earlier if life permits. I have recently trekked the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Spain and I think I am now hooked on adventures. I just wish i started earlier. (I will be 73 next month). I/we are in the extreme early planning stages. We are just beginning to acquaint ourselves with the possible routes. If a sample exists I would be very interested in seeing it. Once again, thank you.

The fact that you’ve done the Camino is amazing to me. That’s definitely a bucket-list item for me. Here’s my actual map. You can get a little closer to the border in west Texas, but we chose not to get on dirt roads in our travels for safety reasons. Hope it helps.
