Work with Me

As a fifth-generation Texan with nearly 30 years of experience in travel and tourism, I created this platform to celebrate the stories, places, and people that make the Lone Star State unique. I’m not your average content creator. According to multiple stats I’ve read, only 9% of creators are over the age of 50. Since I fall into that category, I’m apparently ancient in the storyteller/influencer space. I’m a grandmother, a traveler, a road trip warrior, and proud Native Texan. Over the past five years since starting How Big Is Texas as a hobby, I’ve honed my skills as a creator. HBIT has grown into not only a blog, but includes active social media channels, and a building podcast. My photography has been seen across the globe. With a focus on the Lone Star State and everything Texas has to offer, I am able to reach a market that most companies strive to capture. Nearly 60% of my followers are women, ages 35 to 65. Travel is my love, particularly on the open road. As an amateur photographer, my quest is to discover the vast size of Texas and help communities and businesses in Texas tell their story through beautiful photos and interesting content. I’ve lived in more than 20 cities and towns in Texas and have visited ALL 254 counties. My mission is to inspire adventure, support Texas communities, and connect audiences with authentic travel experiences. HBIT Storyteller Influencer Campaign – February 2026 How Big Is Texas started as a blog in the late Spring of 2020. I’ve grown the blog and added social media channels with significant reach.  Below are my current analytics and where I’ve been featured in media over the years. Looking forward to hearing from you.
