Sometimes a blog post needs to be short. Today is one of those days in west Texas.
Hummingbird in silhouette in mesquite trees at sunrise in San Angelo, Texas.
Our hummingbird feeder in our backyard in San Angelo has been incredibly busy this weekend. I took my cell phone out and stood under one of our mesquite trees that holds a few of our feeders and captured this slow-motion video this morning. They are magical. They make a BIG noise for such a little bird.

The sunrise wasn’t too bad either. Enjoy our west Texas nature!
I’ve worked in the travel industry for more than 25 years and I’ve been known to wander all my life. I’ve lived in more than 20 cities and towns and had the opportunity to experience a variety of people and places, introducing me to different cultures and allowing me to make friends along the way. I also majored in English in college. I don’t claim to be an excellent writer, proofreader, or grammar queen. I’m an amateur photographer and enjoy sharing the beauty of places I visit and and where I live.
